Gilberto Costa Morais

Gilberto Costa Morais, 90, of Oliver St., Fall River, husband of 66 years to the late Maria "Piedade" (Medeiros) Morais, died Wednesday, February 16, 2011. Born in Ribeira Grande, Sé�o Miguel, Azores, he lived in Fall River for the past 42 years and was employed by Bradley-Scott Clothes Manufacturing and Fashion Sportswear. He was a member of Fall River Sporto Club. He loved his family and was a nature and bird enthusiast. He leaves 5 children, Madalena Moniz, Daniel Morais Costa, Fernanda Moniz and Marie Kirkman, all of Fall River, and Norbert Costa Morais of Westport; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a niece Olga Couto of Fall River. He was the son of the late Laureno Costa and Maria Odilia Morais; and the brother of the late Odilia Cabral, and Manuel and Germano Costa Morais. His funeral will be held Saturday at 8:30 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Santo Christo Church at 9:45 AM. Entombment, Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation, Friday, 4 to 8 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
