Francis R. Howard

Francis R. Howard, 102, of Fall River, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2026. He was the loving husband of the late Catherine (Kearns) Howard, "the true love of his life" with whom he shared 69 years of marriage. 

Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Ruel and Eva (Bozack) Howard. 

Francis honorably served in the United States Navy during World War II. For many years, he worked at Raytheon as a tool crib employee. Nothing meant more to Francis than his family. He adored spending time with them and sharing jokes. He enjoyed watching dog races, going to the beach, and appreciating a glass of beer or brandy. 

He is survived by his daughter, Kathleen "Kathy" Farias (late husband Riley); his grandchildren, Nancy Womack (husband Dave), Derek Farias (wife Kristen); his great-grandchildren, Zachary Charette (wife Brenna), Aidan Farias, Ella Farias, and Cora Farias; he is also survived by many nieces, and nephews. 

Francis was predeceased by his siblings, Edward Howard, Thomas Howard, George Howard, Dorothy Lynch, and Bernice Kenney. 

Private Funeral Arrangements are entrusted to Auclair Funeral Home.
