Evelyn (Lavoie) Kennedy

Evelyn (Lavoie) Kennedy, 89, of Fall River, widow of Everett Kennedy, died Monday, March 15, 2010. She worked in the garment industry and was employed by Ideal Laundry. She leaves 2 daughters, Elizabeth Cooper (husband, Richard Thibault) and Margaet Nogueira (husband, late Antonio), both of Fall River; grandchildren, Kerryann, Colleen and Tracy Cooper, and Debra, Michael and Jeffrey Nogueira; great-grandchildren, a brother, Louis "Ted" Lavoie of California and nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Thomas Kennedy (companion, Mary Sullivan of Fall River) and Catherine Stirrup Willard; the grandmother of the late John Stirrup; the daughter of the late Louis and Marion (Tardie) Lavoie and the sister of the late Leo "Charlie" Lavoie and Irene "Sue" Jones. Her funeral will be held Saturday at 9:30 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Anne Church at 10:00 AM. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery. Visitation, Saturday morning prior to the funeral from 8:30 to 9:30 AM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
