Evelyn (Botelho) Gillespie

Evelyn M. (Botelho) Gillespie, 87, a Somerset resident, entered into eternal life on Thursday, August 20, 2020.

She was employed for many years as a housekeeper in the Obstetrics Dept. of Charlton Memorial Hospital.

Evelyn enjoyed going to casinos and was a member of the Red Hat Society.

She was the wife of the late Joseph H. Gillespie, the mother of Deborah J. Gillespie and the late David Joseph Gillespie; the grandmother of Aaron DaCosta and Chad DaCosta; the daughter of the late Manuel and Mary (Marques) Botelho;

the sister of the late Thomas Botelho and James Botelho.

She also leaves two nieces, a nephew,cousins and friends.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, August 25, 2020, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. at Auclair Funeral Home, 690 S. Main St., Fall River, with a Funeral Service following at 10:00 AM at the funeral home.

Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery, Somerset.

Face coverings and social distancing required.
