Evangelina Medeiros

Evangelina (Reis) Medeiros, 84, of Fall River, wife of Manuel J. Medeiros, died Wednesday, February 24, 2016. Born in Mosteiros, St. Michael, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Jose and Maria Reis. A giving soul, she enjoyed cooking for her family and spending time with them. A retired seamstress, she was employed by Samesta Manufacturing. Besides her husband of 58 years, she leaves two children, Ann Marie Anunciacao (husband Ricardo) of Fall River and Antonio M. "Tony" Medeiros (wife Janet) of Somerset, a sister, Violante Rocha of Somerset, four grandchildren, Ricky Anunciacao, Justin Anunciacao, Antoino "Tony" Medeiros Jr. and Krystal Medeiros; three great-grandchildren, Ryan Anunciacao, Jaden Anunciacao and Ethan Medeiros. She was the sister of the late Marie Pavao and Manuel, Domingos and Joao Reis. Her funeral will be held Monday at 9:30 A.M. from Auclair Funeral Home, 690 S.Main St. Fall River with a funeral mass at Santo Christo Church at 10:30 A. M., Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery.
