Eva Thibodeau (Faucher) Genard

Eva (Faucher) Thibodeau Genard, 97, of Kimwell Nursing Home, widow of Henry Thibodeau and former wife of the late Romeo Genard, died Sunday, January 1, 2012. A graduate of Thibodeau Business College, she was employed by Dufresne's Lunch, Bijou Restaurant and Globe Lunch. She leaves 4 children, Lorraine Owen (late husband Darrol) of Fall River, Gertrude Dennis (husband Manuel) of Florida, Janet Lebeau (late husband Ernest, Sr.) of Assonet, and Henry Thibodeau of Fall River; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late George and Marie (Paquette) Faucher; the mother of the late Claire Rego and Annette Banky (late husband Henry); and the sister of the late Annette Pappalardo, Stella Dufresne, Tess Laliberte, Bertha Wilmarth, Rita Amorin, and Leo, Emile, and George Faucher. Her funeral will be held Thursday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Bernard Church, Assonet, at 10:00 AM.
