Elsie (Shoesmith) Lemieux-Cochran

Elsie (Shoesmith) Lemieux Cochran, 96, of North Dartmouth, formerly of Fall River and New Bedford, widow of Robert Lemieux, died Saturday, June 20, 2015. She leaves five children, Frederick Lemieux (late wife Loretta) of East Hampton, CT, Claire Lemieux of The Villages, FL, Beverly Oliveira and her husband John of Tiverton, Henry Lemieux and his wife Constance and Gerald W. Lemieux, all of No. Dartmouth; daughter-in-law Darlene Cardoza of New Bedford; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; her twin sister Hannah Craig of East Providence; a brother, Steven Shoesmith of Westport and nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Davenport) Shoesmith and the sister of the late Mildred Connors, Grace Simonds, Ada Taggart and James, George and Gordon Shoesmith.
