Elsie (Simpson) Gajoli, 88, of Columbia St., Fall River, widow of Joseph A. Gajoli, Sr., died Sunday, July 19, 2009.
A welder at the Kaiser Shipyard, Providence, during WW II, she later worked in the Garment Industry and enjoyed bingo and search-a-word puzzles
She leaves 2 children, Carol Levesque and her husband Hector of Oklahoma and Joseph A. Gajoli, Jr. of Fall River; 3 granddaughters, Jennifer Qualls, Kelly Levesque and Angelina Gajoli; great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Deborah Gajoli; the daughter of the late George and Harriet (Maddox) Simpson and the sister of the late Charles, Raymond, John and James Simpson.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 10:30 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Notre Dame Church at 11:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery.
Visitation, Wednesday morning prior to the funeral from 9:30 to 10:30 AM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
