Elaine Bazemore

Elaine (Martel) Bazemore, 85, of Norwood St., Fall River, died Friday, August 18, 2006 at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River. She was the wife of the late Paul Bazemore. Born and raised in Fall River, the daughter of the late Victor and Imelda (Girard) Martel, she resided in Miami, Florida, from 1946 - 1962. She returned to Fall River and and worked at Quaker Fabrics, retiring in 1985. She is survived by a daughter, Paulette M. Howarth and her husband Donald, Sr. of Assonet, 2 sisters, Janice Martel and Joy Martel, both of Fall River, 2 grandsons, Donald Howarth Jr., and Daniel Howarth; 3 great-grandchildren, Kassidy, Nicholas and Emily - Grace Howarth; She was the sister of the late Lorraine Robitaille. Her funeral will be held Saturday at 8 AM from AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 S. Main St., Fall River with a funeral mass in Notre Dame Church at 9 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery.
