Elaine Ahaesy

Elaine (Pacheco) Ahaesy, 81, of Fall River, passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2026. She shared 55 years of marriage with the love of her life, the late Edward J. Ahaesy.

Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Mariano S. Pacheco and Rose (Lopes) Pacheco.

A devoted Mother and Grandmother, Elaine loved her family. She loved spending time with them, especially hosting Thanksgiving. She enjoyed watching the Jurassic Park movie series, Wheel of Fortune, and Jeopardy. An avid bingo player, she enjoyed going to Foxwoods. She loved listening to country music and dancing the jitterbug.

Elaine is survived by her children, Lisa Marie Blanchett (husband Jason), Edward Scott Ahaesy (wife Lea), and Shawn Michael Ahaesy; her grandchildren, Mayah R. Ahaesy, Brice E. Blanchett, and Ian S. Ahaesy; her brother, George Pacheco (wife Sandra); and her faithful companion Mazie.

She was predeceased by her brothers, John Pacheco, Christiano Pacheco, Manuel Pacheco, Mariano Pacheco, Jr., Frank Pacheco, and Richard Pacheco.

Visitation will be held Sunday, October 4, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM in the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St., Fall River.

Her funeral will be held Monday, October 5, at 8:30 AM from the funeral home, with a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at Holy Name Church, Fall River.

Burial at Notre Dame Cemetery, Stafford Rd., Fall River.
