Edwin H. "Ed" Panek, Sr.

Edwin H. "Ed" Panek, Sr., 78, of Swansea, formerly of New Bedford and Weymouth, died Sunday, June 13, 2010. An Army veteran of the Korean War, he was the founder of West Coast Electrostatic Painting, Weymouth. He leaves a son, Edwin H. "Ed" Panek, Jr. and his wife Monica of Swansea; grandchildren, Christy Resendes of Fairhaven, and Ryan, Rachel and Jaimie Panek, all of Swansea; great-grandchildren, Darian, Cyan and Dagen; and his former wife Joan Fiddler of Swansea. His funeral mass will be held Wednesday at 10:00 AM in St. Louis de France Church, Swansea. Burial, Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. Visitation and flowers omitted.
