Edward Collura

Edward H. Collura, 74 of Fall River, husband of Annette (Bazinet) Collura, died Monday, April 25, 2011. An army veteran of the Korean War, he was the manager of Carnival Drive Inn, Westport until it's closing in 1979. He later worked at Bristol Community College. He enjoyed golfing, sports, cooking and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Besides his wife of 45 years, survivors include 2 children, Suzanne Springer (husband Brian) of Fall River and Paul Collura (wife Diane Cloutier) of Westport; 6 grandchildren, Matthew, Kelsie and Makenna Springer, Regina Collura, Thomas and Marc Gallant; a godchild, Kristen Terceiro, and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Henry and Celia (Pianka) Collura. Following cremation, a funeral mass will be held Saturday, May 7th in Notre Dame Church, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sarah Brayton Nursing Ctr.
