Dorothy (Tweedy) Fournier, 94, of Swansea, wife of the late Fernand Fournier, passed away Saturday, June 5, 2021.
She was a property assessor and a bank teller. She was also an avid game player, such as cards and puzzles and a big sports fan.
Dorothy leaves four children, John A. Fournier (wife Joan), Frederick D. Fournier (wife Jacqueline), Susan D. Starrett (husband Jeffrey) and Kathryn E. Cayton (husband Timothy); many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Robert Tweedy, Donald Tweedy and Barbara Nute and the daughter of the late Milton and Augusta (Peterson) Tweedy.
A visitation will be held Saturday, June 12, from 8:15 AM to 9:15 AM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River with a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Gardner's Neck Rd. Swansea. Burial, Mt. Hope Cemetery.
