Dorothy F. Bridge, 91, of Fall River, passed away on October 8, 2025, at the Village House in Newport, Rhode Island. Dottie was the wife of the late Herbert Harold Bridge. She was born on November 14, 1933, in Somerset, Massachusetts, where she spent many of her formative years.

Dorothy dedicated many years of her life to her career as a hairstylist, successfully owning and operating Clip N Curl in Somerset. Her passion for her craft shone through in every stylistic choice she made, earning her the affection and admiration of her clients and friends alike. Beyond her professional pursuits, Dorothy was an artistic soul who enjoyed painting and expressing her creativity.

Sailing was another cherished interest, and throughout her life, she found joy in navigating the waters alongside her beloved husband, Harold. Together, they owned several sailboats, relishing the tranquility of the sea and the adventures it brought. Dottie loved animals.

A novice guitar player, Dorothy embraced the beauty of music, which complemented her artistic nature. She was known for her warm spirit and vibrant personality, touching the lives of those around her with her kindness and creative flair.

Dorothy was the mother of Wilfred David Christian (partner Donna Carpenter); a grandmother of Alison Christian and David Christian; stepmother of Paul K. Bridge and Janet Wright (husband John); sister of George Jake Lee (wife Francis) and aunt of their children, David Lee, Jane Lee and the late James Lee;

Sister of the late William "Billy" Lee, sister-in-law of Elizabeth "Liz" Lee and aunt of their children William Lee, Elizabeth "Beth" Lee, Brian Lee, and the late Nancy Lee; sister of the late Helen Lee Harrington, aunt of Helen's children, Suzanne Harrington, the late Mike Harrington and the late Jeff Harrington; sister of the late Marjorie Lee Blackburn and the sister-in-law of the late Robert Blackburn, aunt of their children, Cathy Blackburn and the late Wayne Blackburn.

Dottie was the daughter of William J. Lee and Helen V. (Fitzgerald) Lee. 

Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 15 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River. There will be a Catholic Funeral service in the funeral home at 5:00 PM.
