Doris E. (Lavallee) Ribeiro

Doris E. (Lavallee) Ribeiro, 80, of So. Main St., Fall River, wife of James Ribeiro, died Saturday, May 5, 2012. A member of ILGWU, now UNITE, she worked in the garment industry for many years retiring from Lexcraft, Inc. Besides her husband of 58 years, she leaves a son, David Ribeiro and his wife Pauline of Fall River; grandchildren, Julie Boardman and her husband Daniel, Michael Ribeiro, and Sarah-Joy Souza and her husband Jonathan; great-grandchildren, Emily, Samuel, and Molly Boardman, and Jonathan Souza, Jr.; sisters, Florence Sweeney of Fall River and Jean Petraska of Attleboro; and nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Joseph "Pete" and Annie (Dube) Lavallee; and the sister of the late Rose Chadinha and Rita Rasmus. Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Holy Rosary Church at 10:00 AM. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery. Visitation, Monday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
