Donna J. Almeida

Donna J. (Lindsay) Almeida, 76, of Portsmouth, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2026. She was the wife of William Almeida, with whom she shared 57 years of marriage. 

Born in Newport, Rhode Island, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Julia (Sylvia) Lindsay. 

Donna worked as a receptionist for many years at several local doctors' offices and, most recently at the Newport Naval Exchange Barbershop. 

She was a true homebody and loved spending time with her husband in the home they created. 

Besides her loving husband, she is survived by her nephew, Richard Lindsay Jr.; and her other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Richard Lindsay.
