Donald Rogers 82, passed away at his home in Fall River, surrounded by his family, on Thursday, June 18th. 2026.

He leaves a devoted wife of 59 years, Jeanne (Forcier) Rogers and celebrated that milestone this past May of this year. He also leaves behind two sons, Michael Rogers and Douglas Rogers and wife Dawn and his only grandson Connor Rogers, a granddaughter Britney Monroe, her husband Patrick and their son, great-grand-son Griffon Monroe.

He also leaves behind his siblings Marilyn Medeiros, Daniel Rogers, Robert Rogers, Arline Rego, along with several nieces and nephews.

He joined the US Marines in 1961 and served until 1964. He was proud to be called a Marine.

He was a 36-year member of the American Legion in Plymouth MA, life member of the Somerset Progressive Club, and a life member of AmVets Post 60, Fall River, where he served as Commander from 1990 through 1992, Finance Officer for 35 years, and a member of many Motorcycle clubs in the area. He always loved motorcycles and road from 17 years old into his 82nd year, riding the whole eastern states from Maine to Florida.

He worked as a store manager at Fernandes Supermarket, as a beer salesman at Colonial Wholesale Beverage, and at the Bristol County Correctional Facility, in the intake department.
