Donald M. Lavoie

Donald M. Lavoie, 78, of Fall River, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2025.

He was the husband of the late Carol L. (Frazier) Lavoie.

A retired landscaper and painter, he dedicated his life to the beauty of nature, enhancing the landscapes at Independence Harbor in Assonet with his artistic touch.

He had a deep affection for dogs and was known as a handyman, always ready with a tool in hand and a willing heart, assisting neighbors and friends.

He leaves four daughters, Cheryl DeDucca (husband Phillip), Kimberly Card (husband Russell), Tracy Lavoie and Danielle Lavoie; two grandsons, James Lunney and Michael Pelletier; one great-granddaughter, Sophie Pelletier; four siblings, William "Billy" Lavoie, Robert Lavoie, Shirley Holmes and Patricia Perry and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Armand "Butch" Lavoie, Mercedes Lavoie, Steven Lavoie Richard, Lavoie, and Dennis Lavoie and the son of the late Armand and Sarah (Montgomery) Lavoie.

Private arrangements were entrusted to the Auclair Funeral Home.
