Dennis J. Reis

Dennis J. Reis, 64, formerly of Tiverton, husband of the late Sheila (Pacheco) Reis, died Thursday, August 27, 2015. A heavy equipment operator with Local 4, International Union of Operating Engineers, Boston, for many years and former employee of Biszko Construction Co., he was a member of the Massachusetts Army National Guard for 24 years serving as a motor pool mechanic. He was a member of the Tiverton Rod & Gun Club, Blue Angels Old Fashion Cars, Amvets, Post 60, Fall River and several antique and classic car clubs. He leaves a daughter, Ashley Reis of Fall River; grandchildren, Jacob, Logan, Aiden and Faith; siblings, Joseph Reis, III (wife Roseanne), Thomas Reis (wife Susan) and Eva Marie Phelan (husband Jeff, all of Little Compton and Gail Seavor (husband Mike) of Florida; and nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Sherri Lynn Reis; the son of the late Joseph and Eva (Loftus) Reis and the brother of the late Richard Reis (late wife Robin). His funeral will be held Monday at 9:00 a.m. from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at St. Theresa Church, Tiverton, at 10:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. Visitation, Sunday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home. Please omit flowers.
