David L. Pereira

David L. Pereira, age 81, peacefully passed away on September 3, 2026, in Somerset. He was the beloved husband of Madeleine (Bazinet) Pereira, with whom he shared 36 cherished years.

David spent his career in the security industry. He was educated at Lincoln School and B.M.C. Dufree High School. A man of varied interests, he found joy in working on automobiles, exploring flea markets, and participating in the local C.B. Club. His faith was an important part of his life, and he was a devoted member of St. Louis de France Parish in Swansea.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, David R. Pereira; his stepdaughter, Debra Lauzon; stepson, Anthony Lolio; step-grandson, Jeremy Lolio; and three great-grandchildren, Penelope, Carter, and Bentley. He was preceded in death by his sister, Gloria Combes, and his parents, Louis and Alice Duchaine Pereira.

David's memory will live on through his family and friends, who will forever hold him close in their hearts.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass on Thursday, September 24, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Saint Louis de France Church, Buffinton St. Swansea.
