David S. Connor

David S. Connor, 80, of Portsmouth, RI, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at the age of 80. Born on August 3, 1945, in Fall River, David lived a life that was marked by tireless work and deep commitment to his loved ones.

His career was spent on the road and the sea, working first as a fisherman with Tallman and Mack, then as a driver with Anthony's Seafood, then as and ultimately as a long haul truck driver for AFC. Whether navigating busy highways or braving the open waters, David met each job with determination and a steady hand.

David was a dedicated Red Sox fan, never missing a game.

He is survived by his dear companion, Susan Norlin and his daughters, Kim Anderson and Kelli Moniz, and his son, Michael Connor. His legacy continues through his beloved grandchildren: Nikole Mancini, Kelli Tavares, Eddie Murray, Sam Harrington, Ryan Connor, and Kyle Connor. He is also survived by his sister, Deborah Lucente, and his companion's daughter Jenny Abraham.

David was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Connor, his father, Orrin Connor, and his mother, Rita Hedley.
