David J. Chaunt

David J. “Papa” Chaunt, 61, of Somerset, passed away peacefully Monday, March 6, 2023.

He was employed by Eaton Corporation, Rumford, for the past 42 years. David was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. His family always came first. A great man, he was treasured by many. He was Amazon’s greatest customer.

He was the husband of Marcia L. (Martin) Chaunt; father of Julie E. Chaunt, Danielle L. Hammett (husband John) and the late Adam D. Chaunt; grandfather of Jacob A. Chaunt, Charlotte J. Utnehmer, Skylarr L. Turillo, Zachary and Jonas Hammett; brother of Susan M. Moore (husband Rodney); uncle of Dylan Moore; son of the late Normand and Jeannette (Gladu) Chaunt.

Visitation Sunday, March 12 from 4 PM to 8  PM at Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So.Main St.Fall River.

Funeral Service Monday, March 13 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery.
