Daniel J. Sullivan, Sr.

Daniel J. Sullivan, Sr., 84, of Durfee St., Fall River, husband of the late Dorothy (DeSousa) Sullivan, died Wednesday, May 6, 2009. A veteran of WW II, the Korean War and Vietnam War, he served in the Air Force for 23 years and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Middletown, RI and AMVETS, Fall River. He was also a bartender at the VFW, Fall River. He leaves 5 children, Daniel J. Sullivan (Michael Viveiros), Christine Cusick (Paul), Debra Breault (George), Raymond Sullivan and Robin DoRego (Aires), all of Fall River; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; sisters, Katherine Ellis of Somerset and Agnes Sullivan of Fall River and nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Elaine Sullivan; the son of the late John and Ella (Young) Sullivan and the brother of the late Helen, Albert and Henry Sullivan. His funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Anne Church at 10:00 AM. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery.
