Constance I. (Posey) Arruda, 87, of Fall River, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2026.

Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Posey and Juliette (Desrosiers) Posey-Allard.

In 1976, she moved to Norwood with her close friend, the late Rose A. Nuttall.

Constance enjoyed a fulfilling career as a technician at Raytheon's Sudbury facility until her retirement in 1994.

Beyond her career, Constance was known for her artistic spirit. She found joy in helping children by knitting and crocheting items for St. Vincent's Home. Her passion for arts and crafts allowed her to express her creativity and share her talent with friends and family. She also enjoyed bowling, baking and going to the casino.

Constance is survived by her daughter, Doreen Arruda, and her son, Ronald Arruda, a daughter-in-law, Marlene; three granddaughters, Tricia Arruda and her husband Jeff Moniz, Breanna Arruda and Megan Arruda; three great-grandchildren, Kylie Arruda, Kaitlyn Gately and Tyler Gately; two great-great-grandchildren, Olivia Cabral and Hunter Cabral; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Roland Posey and her sister Claire Flynn. Constance was the former spouse of the late Herman S. Arruda and the companion of the late Hank Macomber.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Thursday, February 19, from 10:30 to 11:30 AM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River. Burial and committal prayers will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery, Fall River at 12:00 noon.
