Claire M. Ouellette

Claire M. (Toupin) Ouellette, 88, of Westport, passed away on Monday, June 23, 2025. She was the wife of the late Raymond D. Ouellette, Jr.

For many years, Claire worked alongside her husband at Watuppa Oil Co., where she was the office manager. She loved to go skiing and dancing with her husband. They shared many memories while living on Sawdy Pond for 54 years together. She enjoyed cooking, knitting, and sewing; even making clothes for her children.

Claire is survived by her children, Renee A. L’Heureux (husband Paul), Michele M. Barcelou (husband Bruce), and Nicole Ouellette-Medeiros (husband Donald); her grandchildren, Jonathan, Katelyn, Catherine, Alycia, Micaela, and Nicholas; her great-grandchild, Ezra; and her siblings, Pete Toupin (wife Merle), Joan Correia (husband Raymond), and Shirley Torres (late husband Arthur).

She was the daughter of the late Oscar Toupin, Jr. and Eva (Dupuis) Toupin, and sister of the late Thomas Toupin and Gerald Toupin (late wife Jean).
