Christopher P. Manuel

Christopher P. Manuel, 77, of Tiverton, and formerly of Portsmouth, RI, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at home.

A graduate of Portsmouth High School, class of 1967, Christopher's career spanned over three decades as a welder at Electric Boat in North Kingstown, Rhode Island, from 1977 to 2010.

Christopher was known for his unwavering support of his family, embodying the roles of the rock and glue that held them together. He was always willing to give a helping hand, demonstrating kindness and generosity that touched the lives of many. His warmth and spirit will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is survived by his beloved daughters, Allison Manuel (companion Keith Rego) and Tara Manuel; his cherished grandchildren, Chloe Lynn Phipps (companion Ryan Pimental), Todd Nicholas Phipps Jr., Taylor Madison Cory (companion John Elderkin), Dylan Michael Clement, Amelia Rose Clement, and William Christopher Harkin; and his great-grandchildren, Chase Hunter Goodwin, Jordyn Violet Pimental, and John Kenneth Elderkin, Jr. Christopher is also survived by his sister, Dianna Nelson and leaves nieces and nephews, including a great nephew A.J. Manuel and family, great niece Erica Cabral and family then his Niece Sandy Manuel and sister-in-law Nancy Manuel.

Christopher joins his parents, Arthur and Thelma (Nielsen) Manuel, and his brothers, Bruce Manuel Sr. and Arthur Manuel III and his nephew Bruce Manuel Jr., in eternal rest.
