Charles O. Lapre

Charles O. Lapre, 83, of Tiverton, husband of the late Lillian (Rogers) Lapre and the father of the late Charles R. Lapre, died Sunday, March 15, 2015. He operated the former Charles O. Lapre Excavating Co. for many years and enjoyed traveling and visiting family and friends. He leaves grandchildren, Elizabeth Wood and her spouse Heather Mills-Wood and James R. Lapre, all of Tiverton; great-grandchildren, Timothy and Adam Perry, Kallie, Kaleb and Ethan Mello and Skyler Freitas; siblings, Aurore Lajoie, Normand Lapre, Sister Bernadette Lapre and Loretta Langlais and many nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Wilfrid and Marie Nerea (Trahan) Lapre and the brother of the late Rose-Helene Boutin, Pauline Lepage, Claire Durette, Therese Martel, Juliette Thibault, Blanche Destremps and Isidore, Richard, Edward, Noel and Adelard Lapre. Following cremation, his funeral mass will be held Saturday, March 21, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Theresa Church, Tiverton. Burial, private. Visitation and flowers omitted.
