Cecile (Tardi) Martinville

Cecile (Tardi) Martinville, 92, of Fall River, widow of Adelard "Del" Martinville, died Tuesday, January 31, 2012. She was a Wixon School lunch aide. She leaves daughters, Cecile I. Couture (husband Paul) and Paulette Martinville, all of Fall River, and Janet Remillard (husband Robert) of Somerset; grandchildren, Lori Costello (Gene), Rochelle Therrien (Michael), Scott Remillard (Michelle), Lynette Couture, Michelle Cyr (Joseph Michael), and Jennifer Garcia (Eric); great-grandchildren, Cassandra Alves, Amanda Couture, Meghan, Lauren and David Costello, Meaghan, Kayla and Elijah Therrien, Sarah, Nathan and Brodie Remillard, and Emily and Joshua Garcia; a sister, Georgette St.Pierre of Brookline, MA; and nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Josephine (Dumaine) Tardi; and the sister of the late Angelina Talbot, Lillian Turgeon, Jeanne Audette, Marie Ouellette, Agnes Hubbard, and Omer, Napoleon and Leo Tardi. Her funeral will be held Friday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Holy Trinity Church at 10:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Thursday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
