Carole A. (Lord) Gray

Carole Ann (Lord) Gray, 84, born in Fall River and most recently residing in Tiverton, RI, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2026.

After graduating from Mount Saint Mary’s Academy, Carole attended the St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing.

During this time, she met her husband of 63 years, Leonard Andrew Gray, who was enlisted in the US Army and was stationed at the Nike Apex Missile Base in Swansea, MA. Over the years, they called home Fall River, Somerset, Rehoboth, Berkley, MA, New Bern, NC, and Tiverton, RI.

Carole retired from a long career in nursing, working at St. Anne's Hospital, Sturdy Memorial Hospital, and as a school nurse at Joseph Case High School in Swansea, MA.

Carole is predeceased by her husband Andy and leaves behind her son, Paul (Julie), and her daughter Sheryl (Rick), and her grandchildren Michael (Becky), Sam, Drew, Alexa, and Zachary, and her great-grandchildren Maya and Max.

In addition, she leaves her sister, Nancy Camara, and brother Joe Lord (Debbie), whom she cared for deeply. Carole will be missed by many and remembered for the life she lived.

Carole's visitation will be held Monday, June 15, 2026, from 11:45 A.M. to 12:45 P.M, followed by a funeral service at 12:45 P.M., at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 S. Main St, Fall River. Burial to follow at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Ave, Bourne.
