Carol A. (Finn) Durkin

Carol A. (Finn) Durkin, 85, of Tiverton, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, August 22. She was under the care of hospice and was in the company of her daughter, Pamela and her beloved granddaughter, Maisie.

She is survived by her Daughter, Pamela and her Son-in-law Alfred Levakis and their 4 children: Nicholas, Maisie, Timothy and Michael, all who grew up in Tiverton, RI. As well as, Mara, Ryan and Rory Durkin of Rye, New York.

Carol retired as a civilian contractor from the Naval War College in Newport, RI where she worked on the 4th deck in Intelligence. During her lengthy retirement she dabbled in gardening, enjoyed reading daily and was never one to turn down a competitive card game. 

She will be laid to rest in a private service with family where she will be with her beloved husband John F. Durkin and her son, Ryan J. Durkin
