Cameren M. Gutter, 15, left us far too soon on Saturday, September 20, 2025. Cameren was born on June 15, 2010, and during his brief time with us, he radiated joy and laughter, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was a shining light, known for his goofy sense of humor and infectious laugh that would brighten any room.
He was currently a sophomore at B.M.C. Durfee High School, after having attended Henry Lord Middle School.
Cameren was not just a fun-loving teenager; he was a devoted friend, embodying the saying "once a friend, always a friend." His steadfast loyalty and compassion shone through in all his relationships; he always had your back, making him a cherished companion to many. He loved fiercely, and his family and friends were the cornerstone of his life.
Cameren played football and basketball. He enjoyed video games. His creativity extended beyond gaming, as he proudly produced his own music and enjoyed singing.
He leaves his mother, Debbie Souza, grandmother, Maria (Duarte) Souza (husband Ben Reyes), his aunt and uncle, Stephanie and Jose Pereira, who raised him. He was the grandson of the late George Souza.
Also surviving him is his uncle, George Souza (wife Melinda), his siblings, Haley Barbosa, Dylan Gutter, Aiden Souza, and Harley Callaghan, his cousin, Sophie Pereira, who was like a sister to him, and his cousin Joshua Pereira.
