Blanche G. (Guimond) Lavoie

Blanche G. Lavoie, 100, of Fall River, widow of Thomas Lavoie, died Wednesday, December 17, 2014. A former employee of Cape Cod Shirt Co., she enjoyed playing Bingo and was the original Chaplin elected to the Borden Place East Tenant Council. Survivors include a daughter, Joyce Viveiros and her husband Michael of Swansea; grandchildren Robert, Dennis and Lisa Viveiros and Kimberly Oliveira; great-grandchildren, Cody, Jesse, Liam, Meghan, Kayla, Zachary, Joseph and Leah, and many nieces and nephews. She was the grandmother of the late Michael Viveiros, Jr.; the sister of the late Normand and N. Aurel Guimond and Jeannette Mollo, and the daughter of the late Nelson and Albertine (Paquin) Guimond. Her funeral was private.
