Bernice A. (Bielecki) Coderre, 88, of Fall River, passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2025. She was the wife of the late Donald Coderre, with whom she shared 48 years of marriage.
Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Celia (Baldyga) and Theodore Bielecki.
Bernice was a cherished member of the former St. Peter and Paul Parish at the Holy Cross Church and a proud participant in the International Ladies' Garment Workers' Union, reflecting her commitment to both her faith and her profession.
Bernice's passions included reading and solving crossword puzzles, activities that not only brought her joy but also fostered connections with those around her. Bernice was affectionally known to her grandchildren as "Baci". Her dedication to family was evident in her deep bonds with her living relatives.
Bernice is survived by her daughter Barbara Rinaldi, husband Kenneth, and their children Colin Coderre (wife Cassidy), Evan Rinaldi, and Brian Rinaldi; and her son Raymond Coderre, her daughter-in-law Cheryl Coderre and their daughter Sophie Rose. Additionally, she is survived by her sister Noreen Smith.
Besides her husband, she is preceded in death by her siblings Eileen Bouchard, Salomea "Sally" Bielecki, and Theodore Bielecki.
Her Visitation will be held Monday, June 2, 2025, 8:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M., at the Auclair Funeral Home, with a funeral mass at 11:00 A.M., at Holy Trininty Church.
Burial at St. Patricks Cemetery, Fall River.
Bernice A. Coderre will be remembered not only for her contributions to her community and her family but also for the warmth and kindness she extended to all. Her memory will forever be cherished by those whose lives she touched.
