Armando J. Vieira

Armando J. Vieira, 78, of Fall River, passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2026. He was the husband of Rosa M. (Correia Pereira) Vieira, with whom they shared 52 years of marriage.

Born in Punta Garça, São Miguel, Azores, he was the son of the late José and Maria I. (Motos) Vieira.

Armando was a proud supporter of Benfica and enjoyed watching their games. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and creating countless memories. 

Besides his loving wife, he is survived by his children, Michelle Cordeiro (husband Horacio), Melinda Vieira (fiancé Brian Couto), Brian Vieira (Partner Kendra Arruda); his grandchildren, Kyle Cordeiro, Brianna Couto, Jace Couto, Kai Couto, Eliana Vieira, Liam Vieira; his great-granddaughter, Lianna; his siblings, Duarte Vieira, Antonio C. Vieira, Joao Vieira; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Jose Vieira, Maria I. Matos Vieira, and Odete Franco. 

Armando's visitation will be held Monday, November 9, 2026, from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M., at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 S. Main St., Fall River. 

His Funeral will be held Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at 8:45 A.M., at the funeral home, with a funeral Mass at Santo Christo Parish at 10:00 A.M., 185 Canal St., Fall River. Entombment at Notre Dame Cemetery.
