Antonio J. Travassos

Antonio J. Travassos, 71, of Liberty St., Fall River, husband of Ruth M. (Martins) Travassos, a former employee of Johnson & Johnson, New Bedford, died Friday, February 22, 2013. Besides his wife of 47 years, he leaves 2 sons, Emanuel Travassos and his wife Elana of Houston, TX and Peter Travassos of New Bedford; grandchildren, Michael, Alyssa and Andre Travassos and a sister Graciette Pacheco of St. Michael, Azores. Born in Vila Franca do Campo, Sé�o Miguel, Açores, he was the son of the late Jose and Ana (Peres) Travassos. His funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:15 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Anne Church at 9:00. Cremation to follow. Visitation, Wednesday morning prior to the funeral from 7:45 to 8:15 AM.
