Antonio Martins Dias

Antonio Martins Dias, 84, of Dwelly St., Fall River, husband of Piedade (Antunes) Dias, died Tuesday, September 23, 2014. A native of Santa Maria do Bouro Amares, Portugal, he was a barber in Portugal and worked in Fall River's textile industry, retiring from Duro Textile Printers. Besides his wife of fifty years, he leaves a daughter, Mary Rose Dias of Swansea; a sister, Alzira Ferreira of Portugal and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Antonio Jose Dias and Rosa deJesus Martins Corais and the brother of the late Raul Dias and Amelia Ribeiro. His funeral will be held Friday at 8:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at Good Shepherd Church at 9:00 AM. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery. Visitation, Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
