Antonio Camara

Antonio Camara, 76, of Alden St., Fall River, husband of Gilda (Medeiros) Camara, died Saturday, September 26, 2009. Born in St. Michael, Azores, he was employed by Robin Rug, Bristol, RI and enjoyed gardening and the outdoors. Besides his wife of 55 years, he leaves 7 children, Aires Camara of Tiverton, Adriana Gonsalves of Rehoboth, Grace Barreira of Swansea and Ronald Camara, Anna Pedro, Gabriela Boyer and Lucy Casimiro, all of Fall River; 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He was grandfather of the late Nakita Dias and Linsey Luciano and the son of the late Francisco and Guilhermina (Consaceo) Camara. His funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:30 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Espirito Santo Church at 10:30 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery.
