Antonetta "Etta", "Toots" (Antonelli) Boucher, 93, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. Etta was the loving wife of the late Raymond Boucher.
Born in Providence, Rhode Island, she was the daughter of the late Domenic Antonelli and Assunta (Petrucci) Beccaria.
Her professional journey was one of commitment and service. For 25 years, she worked as a telephone operator. Before this, Etta devoted three years as a nurse’s aide at Catholic Memorial Home.

Crossword puzzles were among her favorite pastimes, providing both challenge and delight in equal measure. An avid reader, she found joy and escape in the pages of books that broadened her understanding of the world.
Etta was also deeply involved in her community. She was a proud member of the Telephone Pioneers and the Italian-American War Veterans Women’s Auxiliary.
She is survived by her sons, Richard Boucher of Fall River, and Raymond Boucher, Jr. of St.Petersburg, Florida; and a daughter, Linda Boucher-Lyford and her husband Bill Lyford of Dunedin, Florida; two grandchildren, Raymond James Boucher and Amy-Lynn Sauro; and three great-grandchildren, Adalyn, Cameron, and Wesley; numerous nieces and nephews.
