Ann Doige Rocha-Nazarchyk, 83, a resident of Fairhaven for over 25 years, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2026 at home. Ann was employed as a bank teller with Slades Ferry Trust, co-owner of Rocha Construction and a secretary for South Shore Utility Construction. She served as President of the Polish American Veterans Ladies Auxiliary Club.
She was the former wife of Daniel B. Rocha Sr. of Tiverton and the late Raymond Nazarchyk. Born in Fall River, Ann was the daughter of the late Albert E. Doige and Cecile Beauparlant Doige.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, reading, traveling, helping the needy and Christmastime; Ann was most fond of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was a communicant of Our Lady of Assumption Church in New Bedford.
Ann was the mother of Daniel B. Rocha Jr. (wife Elizabeth) of Cape Coral, FL, Beth Ann Potter (husband Kenneth) of Fairhaven, Edward Rocha of Tiverton and the late Suzanne Gardella; the grandmother of Melanie Ferreira, Daniel Rocha III, Joel Walsh, Jeffrey Walsh, Ashley Botelho, Cole Rocha, Cassandra Rocha and Jeremy Rocha; the great-grandmother of Lliam, Landon, Wyatt, Jaxon, Lexi and Ayla ; the sister of Jean Perry of Boise, Idaho and the late Robert Doige; the aunt of several nieces and nephews.
Visitation in the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River will be held Monday, July 27 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Her funeral will take place Tuesday, July 28 at 9:00 AM from the funeral home with a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in Holy Trinity Church, Stafford Rd. Fall River. Burial will follow at Pocasset Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, kindly consider a donation to either St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or the Shriners.
