Alfred J. Pimental

Alfred J. “Fred” Pimental, 84, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2024 at Charlton Memorial Hospital.

Born in Fall River and raised in Tiverton, he was the son of the late James F. and Mary (Frietas) Pimental.

He was an owner and trainer at Suffolk Downs.

Fred enjoyed fishing, Thoroughbred Racing and spending time with his beloved dog Daisy.

He leaves son, Eric Pimental (wife Jennifer) and daughter Nathalie (Pimental) Fontes;

Grandchildren: Christian Pimental, Mikayla (Fontes) Goncalves and Kylie Fontes; and a great-grandson Hudson Goncalves.

Fred was the beloved brother of Marilyn Dacosta, Rosemary Perry, and the late James F. Pimental.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Fred's life during his visitation Friday, November 1 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River with a funeral service in the funeral home at 11:00 AM.  

His burial will follow at Pocasset Hill Cemetery, Main Road, Tiverton.
