Alexandra (Rosa) Almeida

Alexandra (Rosa) Almeida, 88, of Westport, widow of Antonio Almeida, entered into rest on November 11, 2013 at home. Born in Cape Verde, she was employed as a teacher in the ABCD Program, Bridgeport, CT. This was a job that she loved. Survivors include five children, Steven Almeida, Fatima Almeida, Manny Andrade, Susan Almeida and Ellen Almeida, Godchild Barbara Branin, seven grandchildren, Lorenzo, Valerian, N Geri, N Cosi, Tiere, Massai and Dyana, Great-grandson, Sai; Siblings, Lucas, Alberto and Alvaro Da Rosa. She was the sister of the late Helena Rosa and Victor Da Rosa. Her funeral was private. Burial took place in Beech Grove Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St. Fall River, MA.
