Albert R. Dechaine

Albert R. Dechaine, 51, of Fall River, husband of Joanne F. (Braga) Dechaine and son of the late Edward and Irene (Carreiro) Dechaine, died Sunday, January 13, 2008. Besides being a carpenter, he enjoyed fishing, sports and spending time with his family. He was a member of the Salvation Army Church. Besides his wife of 34 years, he leaves, 3 children, Stephanie, Joanne N. "Kooka" and Tyler Dechaine; grandchildren, Michael and Justine Peckham, Channelle and Tyren Walton and Marquise McClain; sons-in-law, Robert Walton, Mike Peckham, and Larry McClain, all of Fall River; siblings, Edward of Maryland, Raymond, Anthony, Lorraine Santos, Judy Zarlenga, Jacqueline Pratt, Robin Yelle, and Theresa all of Fall River, Gloria Arruda of Maine; sisters-in-law, Barbara Rancourt and Nancy and Robin Braga, and late Maryjane Andrade; brothers-in-law Joseph and David Andrade; best friends of 30 years, Lamont Hollis and Greg Bell and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Saturday evening at 6:30 PM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Cremation to follow. Visitation, Saturday, prior to the service, from 4:00 to 6:30 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA & BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home. Please omit flowers.
