Albert C. Aspden

Albert C. Aspden, 78, formerly of Hamlet St., Fall River, died Saturday, December 20, 2008. He was the husband of the late Anna (Vaz) Aspden; the father of the late Arleen O'Connell; the son of the late Christopher and Eliza (Gangwich) Aspden and the brother of the late Robert Aspden. He leaves a son-in-law William O'Connell, Sr.; 2 grandchildren, William O'Connell (Melissa) and Holly Ann O'Connell (Brian Desrosiers) and 5 great-grandchildren, Brian and Dylan Desrosiers and Kalyn, William and Aidan O'Connell, all of Fall River. A longtime employee of Sarama Lighting, he served in the Army and the Massachusetts Army National Guard. An avid Red Sox fan, he was a member of the Liberal Club, the Patrick Brennan Club and the American Legion, Post 314. A funeral service will be held Monday at 10:00 AM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Sunday 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
