Alan R. Bare

Alan R. Bare passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2026. He was born in Norwood, MA, to George and Heather Bare (both deceased) and resided most of his life in Rochester, MA. Alan is survived by his brother Michael, sister-in-law Elise, niece Alexandra, nephew Jeremy, and Jeremy’s fiancée Kayla. He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and love for all things cars, motorcycles, and airplanes.

Alan was most recently employed at Ametek in Middleboro. He retired in 2018 from the Air National Guard, 104 th Maintenance Group, 104th Fighter Wing. Alan was a member of the Chapter F Gold Wing motorcycle group. He enjoyed cruising on Wednesday night mystery rides for food and ice cream. Alan was a member of the Audrain Museum and attended many Sunday morning Cars and Coffee events down in Newport, RI. He was a museum enthusiast and visited many military and car exhibits.

The family is holding a private burial. A celebration of life is being planned for a future date.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
