Stephen A. Ferry

Stephen A. Ferry, 68, of Tiverton, husband of Catherine L. (Mazzarella) Ferry, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 24, 2018.  He was also the husband of the late Rochelle (Destremps) Ferry.

An Army veteran of the Vietnam War, he was a member of the VFW Post 5392, Tiverton.  He was employed as a heavy machine operator. Stephen was an avid model train collector, firearm enthusiast and enjoyed motorcycles and traveling.

    Besides his wife Catherine of five years, he leaves a daughter, Stephanie Camara;

Eight  stepchildren, Renee Homen, Bertrand, Jason and Chad Fiola, Laura,Michael,Paula,and Brenda Salvador;

Two grandchildren, Alysha and Cameron Camara;

Eleven step-grandchildren, Cole, Madison, Jake and Brittany Fiola, Jennifer and Samantha Fiola;Casey Costa,Janice and Vanessa Robidoux and Ernie Mendonca;

a great-grandson, Aiden Camara;

four siblings, Andre T. Pomprowicz, Linda Miranda and Walter and Hank Pomprowicz, nieces and nephews.

    He was the brother of the late John Pomprowicz and the son of the late Alfred Ferry and Gloria (Dupre) Ferry Pomprowicz and the stepson of the late Mitchell Pomprowicz.

    Following cremation, a memorial service will be held Saturday, January 5 at 11:00 A.M. at the VFW, 134 Shove St. Tiverton.
