Luis M. Rego

Luis M. Rego, 65, of Fall River, passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2018.

            Born in Nordeste, Santo Antonio, St. Michael, Azores, he was an employee at Parks Corporation in Somerset and TPI in Rhode Island. He served in Angola in the Portuguese Army, was a member of the St. Anthony Band Club, a former member of Mosteirence Band Club and was a Benfica sports fan.

            He leaves seven children, Christina Cordeiro and her husband Paulo of Fall River, Lori Rego and her companion Jamal Greene of Fall River, Erik Rego and his wife Shannon of Somerset, Andrea Rego and her companion Paul Sousa, Monica Basse and her husband Mamadu, Eddie Pacheco and his wife Melinda and Tiago Pacheco and his wife Michelle Santos all of Fall River; 16 grandchildren; five siblings, Conceio Rego, Cecile Rego, Antonio Rego, Jose Rego all of Portugal and Lucinda Franco and her husband Carlos of Canada and many nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Antonio and Maria (Silva) Rego.

            His funeral will be held Monday at 8:00 AM from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River with a Funeral Mass at Santo Christo Church at 9:00 AM. Visitation will be held Sunday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Online guest book at AuclairFuneralHome.com.
