Linda S. Leahey

Linda S. (Gifford) Leahey, 75, of Fall River, wife of Neil Leahey, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019.

            For many years, she was a deli clerk at the former Almacs Supermarket and also worked as a teacher's aide for the Fall River School Department. She enjoyed going to the casinos and loved animals.

            Besides her husband of 30 years, she leaves a son David Lavoie of Johnston, RI; two sisters, Patricia Fahey and her husband Donald of Port St. Lucie, FL and Joyce Levesque and her husband Richard of Fall River and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Karen Lavoie, the daughter of the late Gilbert Gifford and Mary (Marum) Gifford and the sister of the late Judith Mauretti, Michael P. Gifford and Stephen Gifford.

            Her funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 9 at 11:00 AM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Burial will be private. A visitation will be held Tuesday, January 8 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Online guest book at AuclairFuneralHome.com.
