Judith Mauretti

Judith (Gifford) Mauretti, 72, of Fall River, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019. She was the wife of the late Patrick E. Mauretti with whom she shared 36 years of marriage.

 She worked as an administrative assistant for BMC Durfee High School for 25 years, retiring in 1998, then worked for Home Depot in Dartmouth for almost a decade.

Judy loved spending time with her family and enjoyed long phone conversations with those close to her. She always had a kind word for every person she spoke to and would talk about her children and grandchildren to anyone who would listen.

She leaves two children, Patrick G. Mauretti and his wife Amanda of Fall River and Gina J. Marshall and her husband Kevin of Westport; three grandchildren, Isabella L. Mauretti, Benjamin P. and Lucy E. Marshall; two sisters, Patricia Fahey and her husband Donald of Fort Pierce, FL and Joyce Levesque and her husband Richard of Fall River; and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Linda Leahey and her husband Neil, the late Michael P. Gifford and his wife Elizabeth and the late Stephen Gifford and the daughter of the late Gilbert and Mary (Marum) Gifford.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, January 8, 2019, in Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River, MA from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.

Her Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 9:00 AM at St. Mary's Cathedral. Meet directly at church. Burial will private.
