John Tompkins Obituary
John M. Tompkins, 59, of Fall River passed away on Friday, February 22, 2019 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was employed by Alliance Business Products for 30 years. John was a member of Narcotics Anonymous, clean and grateful for the past 14 years. A graduate of Bishop Connolly High School, he earned an Associate Degree from B.C.C. He was a Harley Davidson enthusiast.
He loved spending time with “His Julie” and was comforted in his last days by his children at his side.
He leaves three children, Ian Andrew Tompkins (wife Cassandra), Julianne Elizabeth Tompkins and Eric Tompkins (fiancee Liliana); former wife, Kathleen (O’Melia) Tompkins; a granddaughter, Cornetta Hope Tompkins; three siblings, Ralph H. Tompkins (wife Cathy), Jane E. Clinch (husband Dr. J. Michael) and Cynthia Ray Landon (husband Scott)
He was the son of the late Dr.Eugene R. Tompkins, Jr. and Edna Mae (Marset) Tompkins.
A visitation will be held Wednesday from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Auclair Funeral Home, 690 S.Main St.Fall River with a funeral service at 5:00 P.M. Cremation to follow.
