Frederick A. Louro, 85, of Somerset, husband of Nancy L. (Berthiaume) Louro, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2019.
A US Marine Veteran of the Korean War, he was a dairy manager for Stop and Shop for 32 years. He was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul society and loved woodworking and visiting Florida to watch the Red Sox spring training.
Besides his wife of 59 years, he leaves four children, Brian Louro (wife Patricia) of Somerset, Mark Louro (wife Sharon) of Easton, Greg Louro (wife Leslie) of Rehoboth and Lisa Louro of Somerset; five grandchildren, Timothy, Amanda, Julianne, Joshua and Nathan; a sister, Dorothy Felix of Bridgewater and several nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Aries and Rose (Castro) Louro.
His funeral will be held Thursday at 9:00 AM from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River with a Funeral Mass at St. Louis de France at 10:00 AM. Burial, St. Patrick's Cemetery, Somerset.
